Pleased to meet you! I am a statistics Ph.D. candidate at the University of Washington. This fall, I will be joining Columbia University as a postdoctoral researcher. Prior to that, I received a B.E. in industrial engineering at Tsinghua University.

Jointly advised by Abel Rodriguez and Jon Wakefield, I am very passionate about developing scalable Bayesian inference methods for complex data, including spatial and temporal event sequence data. In particular, I am interested in tackling machine learning problems like regression, clustering and latent variable modeling under the lens of nonparametric Bayes. I am the recepient of a few awards, including the 2025 JSM student paper competition, and best talk awards (twice!) at the Bayesian Young Statisticians Meeting in 2023 and 2025.

In my spare time, I watch many movies, go to lots of live concerts and sometimes write reviews.
